If you live in Berlin and you've ever tried to book a vet, you know the ritual. You wait until you have a free moment during the working day because that's the only time anyone picks up. You call. You're on hold. Maybe the person who answers switches to German faster than you can follow. You leave a message. You wait. You call again.
Every other appointment in your life is booked online. Your GP. Your dentist. A table for dinner. A haircut. But the one appointment that's about a living creature who depends entirely on you still runs on a phone line and opening hours.
That's the problem pet2vet exists to fix. And we want to tell you honestly where we are on the way to fixing it.
What's live today
Right now, you can sign up and use pet2vet as your pet's health hub. It's free for pet owners, and it works today.
Your pet gets a profile. You keep their vaccination records in one place and always know what's due next. You set medication and treatment reminders so you never miss a pill, a deworming, or a flea treatment again. You log health records and vet notes, so your pet's full history follows them and to any vet, forever. You can even track what you spend on their care, and share access with your partner, your family, or the friend who feeds them when you're away.
One place for everything about your pet's health. That's live. Go use it.
What we're still building
The whole point of pet2vet is booking your vet online, 24/7, without a phone call. That part is built and it works: the moment a clinic joins, you can book them online, right away, no phone call needed.
What we're building now isn't the tool. It's the map. A booking platform is only as useful as the number of vets on it, and we're filling Berlin in clinic by clinic, here on the ground, one practice at a time. It takes time, because we're doing it properly rather than padding a directory with listings no one can actually book.
So today, whether you can book online depends on whether your vet has joined yet. Many haven't, and that's exactly the gap we're closing. The day your vet comes online, you'll be the first to know.
We could have waited quietly until the map was full and then appeared with a polished launch. We chose the opposite. We'd rather build this in the open, with the people it's actually for, than hand you a finished thing you had no say in. A better product comes from that. So does a real community.
That's where you come in.
Two things we're asking
One: tell us what's broken. You're using an early version. Some things will feel clunky. Some things you'll wish worked differently. Tell us. Every message from an early user changes what we build next. Not in some vague "we value feedback" way. Literally: your note lands with the three people building this. We read all of it.
Two: tell us which vet to bring online first. This is the big one. You have a vet you trust, or you're looking for one you can trust. Inside the app, you can flag them. Tell us who they are, and we'll reach out and invite them onto pet2vet. The clinics our community asks for most are the ones we onboard first. You're not just waiting for the vet booking to arrive, you're deciding which vets it starts with.
The most powerful message we can send a Berlin clinic isn't a cold sales pitch. It's the truth: "Your own clients are already asking for you." You make that true every time you flag your vet.
Why be early?
There's no prize for waiting until this is finished and everyone's here. The people signing up now are the ones shaping it: the first names on the wall, the ones who told us which vets mattered, the ones who were here when it was still a little rough around the edges.
And for the very first of you, there's something real. The first 50 people to sign up become our Pack Founders. When we cross the milestone that ends our beta (the day the tenth Berlin clinic goes live) every one of those first 50 gets a Founder Pack: a numbered, exclusive set of pet2vet gadgets, made only for the people who were here at the start. Numbered #1 to #50. Never made again. No one who joins later can ever earn it, no matter how much they'd like to. It's our way of saying thank you to the people who took the bet before there was anything to see.
We're a small team. We're building this in Berlin, for the pets and the people of this city first, and then far beyond it. We don't have a marketing machine. We have a working app, a clear idea of what we're trying to fix, and a belief that the people who care most about their animals will want to help build the tool they've been missing.
If that's you, sign up, set up your pet's profile, and flag your vet.
Then tell us how to make it better.
Made in Berlin. Free for pet owners. Still being built with you.
